The Commandments of Allah In Quran
1. The Torah is known as the book given to Moses. However, the Quran nowhere mentions that the Torah was given to Moses. The word Masihi (Christians) is not used in the Quran. The Quran refers to the supporters of Jesus with the arabic word „nasara”(5.77-5.82). The Jewish in 5.82 are not all Jews, but those who are considered unappreciative of God message.
1 The First Commandment is that God is One.the system of God in only one, always the same, it is the Islam.
And He is Allah there is no god but he! His is all praise in the first and in the last, and His is the command, and unto Him ye shall be returned. (70)28Al-Qasas
2. There is nothing that equals (like) Him. (42:11) Ash-Shura
Sights comprehend Him not, and He comprehendeth all sights. And He is the Subtle, the Aware. (103) 6 Al-Anaam
And recall what time Ibrahim said: my Lord! make this City secure and keep me and my sons away from worshipping the idols. (35) 14 Ibrahim
3.And make not Allah’s (Name) an excuse in your oaths against your doing good and acting piously, and making peace among mankind. And Allâh is All-Hearer, All-Knower ( do not swear much and if you have sworn against doing something good then give an expiation for the oath and do good).(224) 2 Al-Baqara
4 Abstaining from alcohol
O you who believe! Intoxicants (all kinds of alcoholic drinks), gambling, and Al-Ansab, and Al-Azlam (arrows for seeking luck or decision) are an abomination of Shaitan’s (Satan) handiwork. So avoid (strictly all) that (abomination) in order that you may be successful. (90 )5 Al-Maeda
5 Abstaining from prohibited food
Dead meat
Blood
Pork is prohibited
Food on which names beside Allah have been invoked
The Qur’an prohibits the consumption of pork in no less than 4 different places.
He has forbidden you only the Maitah (dead animals), and blood, and the flesh of swine, and that which is slaughtered as a scrifice for others than Allah (or has been slaughtered for idols, on which Allâh’s Name has not been mentioned while slaughtering). But if one is forced by necessity without wilful disobedience nor transgressing due limits, then there is no sin on him. Truly, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (173) 2 Al-Baqara
Forbidden unto you are the deadmeat, and blood, and the flesh of the swine, and that over which is invoked the name of other than Allah, and the strangled, and the felled, and the tumbled, and the gored, and that which wild animals have devoured, unless ye have cleansed, and that which hath been slaughtered on the altars, and that ye seek a division by means of the divining arrows: all that is an abomination. To- day those who disbelieve have despaired of your religion; wherefore fear them not, and fear Me. To-day I have perfected for you your religion, and have completed My favour upon you, and am well-pleased with Islam as your religion. Then whosoever is driven to extreme hunger not inclining to sin, verily then Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. (3) 5 Al-Maeda
Say thou: I find not in that which hath been revealed unto me aught forbidden unto an eater that eateth thereof, except it be carcass, or blood poured forth, or flesh of swine, for that verily is foul, or an abomination over which is invoked the name of other than that of Allah. Then whosoever is driven thereto, neither lusting nor transgressing, verily thy Lord is Forgiving, Merciful. (145) 6Al-Anaam
He hath only disallowed unto you the dead-meat and blood and swine-flesh and that over which is invoked the name of other than Allah. Then whosoever is driven by necessity, not alusting nor transgressing verily Allah Is Forgiving, Merciful. (115)16 An-Nahl
Food on which names beside Allah have been invoked
6 Being Honest in your Business
Helping Neighbours
Abstaining from Backbiting
Obeying and Respecting Parents
Loving, being Kind and Just to your Wife
Abstaining from Adultery
Dressing Modestly
Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly),And urges not on the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), Those who delay their Salat (prayer from their stated fixed times), Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), And prevent Al-Ma’un (small kindnesses like salt, sugar, water).
(1- 7)107 Al-Maun
Woe to every slanderer and backbiter. Who has gathered wealth and counted it, He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! Nay! Verily, he will be thrown into the crushing Fire
(1-4)104 Al-Humaza
O you who believe! Let not a group scoff at another group, it may be that the latter are better than the former; Nor let (some) women scoff at other women, it may be that the latter are better than the former, Nor defame one another, nor insult one another by nicknames. How bad is it, to insult one’s brother after having Faith [ to call your Muslim brother (a faithful believer) as: "O sinner", or "O wicked"]. And whosoever does not repent, then such are indeed Zalimun (wrong-doers). O you who believe! Avoid much suspicion, indeed some suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting) . And fear Allah. Verily, Allâh is the One Who forgives and accepts repentance, Most Merciful. (11-12) 49 Al-Hujraat
And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour. And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: “My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was young.” (23-24)17 Bani Israel OR Al-Isra
O you who believe! You are forbidden to inherit women against their will, and you should not treat them with harshness, that you may take away part of the Mahr[] you have given them, unless they commit open illegal sexual intercourse. And live with them honourably. If you dislike them, it may be that you dislike a thing and Allâh brings through it a great deal of good. (19) 4 An-Nisa
And come not near to the unlawful sexual intercourse. Verily, it is a Fahishah [ anything that transgresses its limits (a great sin)], and an evil way (that leads one to Hell unless Allah forgives him). (32) 17Al-Isra
Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts). That is purer for them. Verily, Allah is All-Aware of what they do. (30)24 Al-Noor
7 And do not kill anyone which Allaah has forbidden, except for a just cause. And whoever is killed (intentionally with hostility and aggression and not by mistake), We have given his heir the authority [to demand qisaas – Law of Equality in punishment – or to forgive, or to take Diya (blood money)]. But let him not exceed limits in the matter of taking life (i.e., he should not kill except the killer only). Verily, he is helped (by the Islamic law).
8 And walk not on the earth with conceit and arrogance. Verily, you can neither rend nor penetrate the earth, nor can you attain a stature like that of the mountains in height.
