Prayers/Namaz According to Quran
You can place your arms the way you like that’s not important. What’s important is a person’s attention or niyat of the person during prayers .Allah accept the Prayers of the person not the methods .
Worship Allah only in our prayers and our prayers must be based on Tawheed Only for Allah .
The important point of our prayers is to strong our Faith in Allah and to improve our selves and take guidance from Allah to Protect us from (evil things) and show us the right path and forgive our sins.
whether you fold your arms or not during salaat, it makes no difference at all. It’s your choice. physically cleanness is important when you stand up for prayer.
O ye who believe! when ye stand up for the prayer wash your faces and your hands unto the elbows, and wipe your heads, and wash your feet unto the ankles. And if ye be polluted, then purify yourselves And if ye be ailing or on a journey or one of you cometh from the privy or ye have touched women, and ye find not water, then betake yourselves to clean earth and wipe your faces and hands therewith. Allah intendeth not to lay upon you a hardship, but intendeth to purify you and to complete His favour upon you, that haply ye may return thanks.
5 Surah Al-Maeda verse (6)
Muslims when in prayer follow the prophet’s [pbuh] example of prayer. He was in direct communication with Allah, as he prayed in Masjid-Al-Haram at Mecca, other places and privately. He as the Imam of the time was followed.
And recall what time his Lord Proved Ibrahim with certain words then he performed them. He said: verily I am going to make thee a leader unto mankind. Ibrahim said: and also of my progeny? Allah said: My covenant shall not reach the wrong-doers. 2 (124)
And recall what time We appointed the House a resort unto man kind and a place of security and said: take the station of Ibrahim for a place of prayer. And We covenanted with Ibrahim and Ismail, saying: purify ye twain My Houses for those who shall circumambulate it and those who shall stay, and those who shall bow down and prostrate themselves. 2(125)
The origin of this Sunnah is the manner Ibrahim[pbuh] was instructed by Allah. This reason being Ibrahim is given the Title of Imam.
