2:Abu Qatada al-Ansari R.A se rivayat hai keh NABI KAREEM S.A.W se Asura (10 Muharram) ke din ke rozey ke bare mein pucha to Aap S.A.W ne faramaya ye agle aane wale saal ke gunahon ka kaffara hai..........
Abu Haraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The most excellent fast after Ramadan is God's month. al-Muharram, and the most excellent prayer after what is prescribed is prayer during the night.
Abu Qatada al-Ansari (Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) was asked about fasting on the day of 'Ashura (10th of Muharram), whereupon be said: It expiates the sins of the preceding year. (Sahih Muslim)
